Baffin Island & The Polar Star Couloir
Polar Star is one of many incredible couloirs that split some of the worlds largest rock walls in the Sam Ford Fjord zone. Cold, windy and as unforgiving as the arctic can be at times, these descents require tenacity and lots of fuel, carbohydrates, and a plane in order to complete this arctic journey. Oh and bring a gun as you are officially on the wrong end of the food chain if you encounter a persistent polar bear.
